“ The Brit Pub & Eatery was pretty good. The food was nice although the nachos weren’t the best as it lacked meat and flavour. The guacamole was good though. It had a nice little kick of spice to it. The service wasn’t the best however. You order it yourself which some people like. Half an hour in we were all happy because don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place. But… As we were talking and not worrying about the food and drinks much the waiter without saying a word took one of our drinks and walked off when it was still half full. We were also missing a sauce but no big deal. Atmosphere was pretty good but then reality kicked in and the Auckland reality came. Some drunk guys in tights and sumo wrestling type gear came in and danced. It was crack up but obviously out of the blue. Overall it’s a pretty decent place and if your chill and just want a quick bite then this is the place for you. 4 stars. ”
“ Pretty good food and nice cocktails, although the steak was a little bit tough. Lively and energetic atmosphere, so if you're in the mood for something of that nature, definitely worth checking out. The service was okay. It wasn't clear at first that we should take any table that was free and unreserved, as no one was there to explain, so we waited to be seated like normal until deciding to ask the bartender ourselves after a few minutes. We got lucky with the last free table in the place, although one of the chairs had an uneven leg because of a missing stand, so it rocked around uncomfortably. All in all, a decent experience. Worth the $25 Wednesday steak special. ”
“ Great CBD pub. At first felt Aussie but the menu was unique. Best Poutine outside of Canada for sure. The fried chicken was also a knock out. Good chill atmosphere as well. ”
“ Had drinks with my colleagues. Food is great. The provided space is quite small, I had to stand all the time. ”
“ I had a quick dinner by myself here on Tuesday night. Is was not busy, many tables were available and I enjoyed sitting at the high table by the window, as views of the city are great in the evening. Can’t say much about the service, have ordered by the bar and food was delivered to the table. I didn’t like the food, I had a grilled salmon. Everything on the plate was excessively over salted and greasy. Overpriced too, For that price I was expecting a better quality food. Would not recommend. ”
“ The Brit Pub & Eatery offers great food, service, and atmosphere. The ciders we ordered came chilled, and were perfectly refreshing after a long day of work/study. Not long after, the food arrived at the table hot and fresh. The Poutine dish was very nice and came with crispy and fluffy chips, hot and delicious gravy, and most importantly, stringy and flavourful cheese. The Spicy Chicken bites were full of flavour, juicy, and packed a kick !. The Sweetcorn Croquettes were just as delicious and crunchy and flavourful as the rest of the meal. Overall this was a lovely experience and a must try if you're in the city. ”
“ Amazing food and drinks before a night out. Me and my partner headed out for Friday and stopped here by chance … no regrets all delicious. Great wine recommendation from Courtney thank you. Amazing bar staff. Katsu bowl and fried chicken was delicious ”
“ Stopped in here after the Saturday market. Great choices to choose from. We enjoyed the chicken sandwich and pizza. Food was delicious. ”
